Melt any heart with this handmade and timeless ceramic heart dish that can temporarily or steadily hold a flame with the aid of sustainably sourced palm snow wax.

Includes a light speckled pink ceramic dish (courtesy of @m_ceramic_arts) with a capacity for 130 grams of snow wax. The wax is contained in a compostable, self-sealing bag, inside a reusable burlap gift bag with wicks and instructions.  Each piece is unique, varying slightly in size and shape, but what you receive will be a roughly 5-inch-diameter vessel.

This heart-shaped dish can be refilled after 18 to 20 hours of burn time for continued use as a candle, or it can be turned into a decorative piece for things like candy or potpourri.

Please only burn one wick at a time in the center of the vessel for best results.

Although this refillable ceramic heart candle is meant as a symbol of never-ending love, I'm going to offer the words of Tennessee Williams from his poem, "We Have Not Long to Love," to emphasize the preciousness of this fundamental experience:

We have not long to love.
Light does not stay.
The tender things are those
we fold away.
Coarse fabrics are the ones
for common wear.
In silence I have watched you
comb your hair.
Intimate the silence,
dim and warm.
I could but did not, reach
to touch your arm.
I could, but do not, break
that which is still.
(Almost the faintest whisper
would be shrill.)
So moments pass as though
they wished to stay.
We have not long to love.
A night. A day....

Burning Instructions- Empty contents of compostable sealed bag into provided ceramic vessel and gently shake to level wax. Place a single one-inch-long wick at center of vessel, straight into wax, leaving a 1/4 inch of wick exposed and light with a match or lighter. After flame is extinguished, allow melt pool to completely cool before removing and discarding. Gently Shake vessel to allow wax to re-level and repeat the same process until it is necessary to create a mountain of snow wax towards the center of the vessel so that only 1/4 inch of the wick shows before relighting. Smaller wicks are included for when the wax amount becomes too low for the larger wick so as to get the most burn time. You can use a spoon to build wax up toward the center of the vessel and refer to the last image in this listing for a picture illustrating what this would look like. As always, never leave a burning candle unattended, or near flammable items, or in reach of children or pets.

Thank you!
